Information surrounds us and knowledge essentially is how we make meaning of this information. My aim in every session with students is to raise their consciousness to what surrounds them - their virtual feeds, the physical infrastructure, lives of people.
It is only when you take all these jig-saw pieces in, will you be able to complete the puzzle - a never ending puzzle of reality. However, the more pieces you have, the more complete the puzzle will be and better will you be in a position to make sense of it.
One could misinterpret "taking information in" as me promoting Rattebaazi. But what if memory is a function of consciousness? When you live a moment to the fullest, you do tend to remember it, nai?
